About our Practice

At Auburn Youth & Family Services, we are committed to strengthening the emotional well-being of individuals, families, and our community through compassionate, accessible, and evidence-based behavioral health services. As an interdisciplinary team of Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSWs), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs), and other trained behavioral health professionals, we provide comprehensive support to children, adolescents, adults, and families facing life's challenges. Our clinicians specialize in helping individuals heal from trauma, manage anxiety and depression, navigate family and relationship concerns, develop healthy coping skills, and overcome barriers that impact overall well-being. We believe that every individual possesses unique strengths and the capacity for growth, and we strive to create a safe, supportive environment where healing and meaningful change can occur. Through a collaborative and client-centered approach, we work alongside clients to better understand their experiences, identify personal goals, and develop practical strategies that promote resilience, self-awareness, and long-term success. Our team utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual and family we serve. In addition to our outpatient counseling services, Auburn Youth & Family Services is proud to maintain a longstanding partnership with Auburn Public Schools through our school-based behavioral health program. Our clinicians work directly within the Auburn school system to provide mental health counseling, crisis intervention, consultation, prevention services, care coordination, and support for students and families. By embedding services within the schools, we help reduce barriers to care and ensure that students have access to timely and effective support in an environment where they learn and grow each day. As a community-based organization, our mission extends beyond therapy alone. We are dedicated to connecting individuals and families with resources, advocacy, prevention services, and community supports that promote overall health and stability. We recognize that emotional well-being is closely connected to family, school, community, and social supports, and we work collaboratively to address the whole person within the context of their environment. Our clinicians are licensed to practice in Massachusetts and are committed to ongoing professional development to ensure the highest quality of care. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, your family, or a loved one, we are honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and wellness.
